Plot
It tells the story of three very different families vying for the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they believe will solve all their problems. Dennis Leary and Ray Romano starred in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present). Looking at this show through a narrative lens, the pieces don’t quite fit together. There were a lot of red herrings. We get so deep into each character’s backstory that the overall story doesn’t feel strong enough to stay on track. It all comes together in the end. It would definitely be stronger without the ensemble cast. There are a lot of familiar faces, so I can see why they did it. There were some weak characters in both the writing and the acting. Others seem to struggle with the balance of comedy and drama. I think it’s time Netflix gave Linda Cardellini her own show. By far the best part… No time to scroll endlessly, here’s the entire lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
