It tells the story of a priest who doubts his faith and has to participate in the exorcism of a demon from a teenager. Based on real exorcism cases in Indonesia. This movie is too universal and not unique enough to watch, moreover, the common content is compared to other exorcism movie. The actors don’t really understand how to play the role and are very stiff and uptight. The director and screenwriter didn’t have enough ideas to make this movie seem different and unique for the audience to get into a truly scary picture. I didn’t really enjoy this movie from start to finish. It was boring and most of the movie was like a cheap copy and paste. In fact, exorcism stories in the horror movie world have been widely circulated, especially in the United States. Various types of exorcism stories have also been shown. Where to start? Haunted houses? Exorcism and murder? Satan disturbing the family? Or a priest who is also possessed? They’ve all been made by Hollywood.
